Some comments about Delia -

Dave Kidman, Net Rhythms:
"This is one of the best albums of covers I've ever come across. [...] No exaggeration, this supremely artful set of 'twelve songs that belong together' is interpretive magic of the very highest order. - Dave Kidman (All Music Guide)

Brian Mansfield, USA Today:
**** (4/4 stars)
The expatriate folk singer gives voice to a dozen songs narrated by the displaced and the uprooted, or those just overtaken by wanderlust. Shindell does amazing things with Peter Gabriel's Mercy Street and the Band's Acadian Driftwood, but some of his most insightful performances come with older or lesser-known material, including Argentine Folk rocker Leon Gieco's Solo le Pido a Dios [...] and Scottish singer Harry Robertson's The Humpback Whale, with Richard Thompson on guitar.
